Go Inside A Volcano? The wonderful world of the Thrinukagigur Volcano
Going inside a volcano. Why on earth would someone want to do that? Well, if you're a volcanologist it would offer a one of a kind opportunity to study what makes a volcano tick from the inside instead of only being able to study what is...
Salar De Uyuni: The amazing Salt Flats of Bolivia
Mopping up a small puddle of Lipeña Cerveza, a beer made from Quinoa, which had found the express route into my lap thanks to the latest in a long line of pot holes that we had endured over the last 2 days, I was confident nobody had noticed. We were almost at our...

Cretaceous Park – Sucre’s Unique Window Back In Time

My Story
Travel takes many forms for many people. I firmly believe that travel of any kind is enriching. For the last decade I have chosen trips that many people see as exotic or out of the way but the places I have been blessed to see and the people I have met have helped shape me as a person.
I’m not adverse to a “standard” beach holiday or city break but anywhere I travel I try to find something unique about the destination to explore.
This blog is the culmination of many thousands of airmiles and countless trips to amazing places and cultures. I hope you enjoy finding inspiration for your travels.
